Fish/ Trail report

Last week was a tough week on the lake fishing; it was sunny and cold, that seemed to shut things down on the lake.

Saturday and Sunday morning we fished Little Bay De Noc. Saturday we did not catch a single fish, but Sunday morning we did catch 1 nice perch and a couple of small walleyes.

Sunday afternoon we fished here and caught 1 keeper walleye and had a big one on but did not land the fish. We did mark fish until we quit about 6:30 but no more bites.

Monday afternoon, 2/2, I caught a 23" pike as soon as I got in the shack and a small walleye all on the dead stick with a minnow. Nothing would hit on the Jigging rap.

Based on reports from the people that stay here the trails were in good shape. It was a little bumpy around Munising but the rest of the trails were in good shape.

We have received about 8" of new snow over the last 2 days and it should freshen up the main and back trails.
